I like making cards by hand, whether it’s for a bridal shower, birthday, or Christmas. But one of my favorite favorite favorite holidays, regardless of my relationship status – is the big V! VALENTINE’S DAY.
A day full of pinks and reds and flowers and chocolate and hearts and love. And it doesn’t have to be romantic love, it can be the love of a friend, or the love for family, even the love of a pet is a part of this wonderful holiday <3.
In lieu of anything super fancy – I opted for some cute, handmade valentines – all taped to a chocolate bar. I made some for my family and one for my roommate (I don’t have a photo of hers but it has 2 hand-drawn socks on it with “We make a cute pair!” written on it). Puns are especially acceptable on this cheesy holiday : ) because that’s just part of the fun.
Just paper, colored pencils, and an ink pen.
Okay, so the bunny one does have a sticker left over from Easter on some pretty rad scrap paper.
